Safari Club International Annual Conference

I'm heading out to this year's Safari Club International (SCI) Convention in Reno later this month. In addition to protecting hunters rights, SCI does a tremendous amount of work to advance hundreds of wildlife conservation projects each year. We also are deeply involved in public education about hunting's role in wildlife management. Hunters are wildlife conservations best friend. Much of the urban populations lack of realization of hunters respect and love for nature is due to the way hunters are almost invariably portrayed as uneducated, nasty, slobs in the movies and by Hollywood.
